M&E Excellence - effective and efficient provision of Functional Skills Qualifications

Founded in 2018, M&E Excellence has the sole purpose of supporting the National drive towards decreasing the barriers and deterrents often seen by individuals choosing the Apprenticeship route.

The idea of completing Functional Skills Maths and English alongside an Apprenticeship and full time employment can be one of the major deterrents for applicants and providers of apprenticeships.

M&E strives to be the solution to reducing this deterrent through offering apprentices and providers a diverse selection of completion pathways for Maths and English, all of which fully recognise existing skill sets, prior attainment and individual circumstances.

Working in partnership with UK wide Apprenticeship providers, including NHS, Training and Business Organisations, M&E maintain the ethos of ‘one size never fits all’ and encourages providers to introduce the Maths and English component as part of the apprenticeship, as it is then that each candidate is in a learning mindset.

Key benefits:

As an Organisation focusing on a niche area of Apprenticeships, barriers to CPD and often deterrents for many considering the Apprenticeship route, M&E Excellence adopts a primary focus of overcoming the common barriers and strives to ensure the Functional Skills component is fully achievable alongside existing commitments and workloads

M&E Excellence offer multiple completion pathways for Functional Skills qualifications & Tailored Training to ensure there is a learning approach which meets the needs of all prime partners, whilst fully recognising existing skill sets of all learners and creating the individual learning plan which meets their specific needs.
